Talks to continue in Dublin Airport’s online check-in row

25/03/2006 - 08:43:46
Talks are set to continue today between the Dublin Airport Authority and SIPTU in a row over online check-in tickets.

Ryanair has claimed that staff at the airport are refusing to co-operate with its new online system, which was due to come into operation last week.

The staff are said to have a range of industrial relations issues which they want resolved before they comply with the new operating process.

The new system was to be introduced on the Dublin-to-Cork route initially, and then be extended to other routes.

If the row is not resolved through talks, it is expected to go to the Labour Relations Commission.
