Wenger won't risk Campbell
24/03/2006 - 18:02:03Coach Arsene Wenger has decided not to include fit again England centre-half Sol Campbell in Arsenal’s squad for tomorrow’s Barclays Premiership clash with Portsmouth.
Campbell has recovered sufficiently from a bruised ankle but Wenger wants him to have an intensive training session instead of being involved against the struggling south coast side.
Wenger will still be without left-back Ashley Cole (ankle), Pascal Cygan (hamstring), Freddie Ljungberg (calf), while Lauren is out for the season after knee surgery.
Provisional squad: Lehmann, Almunia, Eboue, Toure, Senderos, Hleb, Flamini, Fabregas, Gilberto, Pires, Henry, Adebayor, Djourou, Song, Bergkamp, van Persie, Reyes.
