Ronaldinho would welcome Henry at Barca
Ronaldinho believes Thierry Henry would be a “perfect” signing for Barcelona.
The Brazilian made the claim while promoting a sportswear advert in the Spanish city, which Arsenal captain Henry also took part in.
“Without a doubt, it would be great to play with a quality player like Henry,” said Ronaldinho.
“If he arrives, it would be perfect because to have a player that has so much quality would thrill everyone.”
The Gunners’ record goalscorer has been the subject of speculation linking him with a move to the Spanish champions in recent months, however Arsenal are optimistic he will stay in London.
Henry has yet to sign an extension to his contract which expires in the summer of 2007.
However in January he expressed a willingness to extend his Arsenal career, saying: “I’m staying here to build one of the best teams in Europe.
“We need to be competitive. The club said it was up to me and now it’s up to them. I’ve made my decision and I can’t say more than that.”
