Lohan: 'Hollywood nothing to do with my weight loss'

Actress Lindsay Lohan has slammed suggestions she slimmed down because of Hollywood pressure, insisting the decision to shed weight was a personal one.

The Mean Girls star, who battled bulimia speculation following her drastic weight loss last year, claims her shrinking stature was the result of a simple desire to slim down.

And she maintains she will never buckle under pressure to look as skinny as some of her fellow Tinseltown stars.

She says: "I wanted to get rid of a few pounds, that's all.

"Image is important but that's not why I lost weight. I just like to look good and be healthy."
