Boa Morte stuns Chelsea
19/03/2006 - 17:55:00Luis Boa Morte stunned Jose Mourinho and sent Chelsea spinning to their only third Premiership defeat of the season.
Boa Morte’s first-half goal was enough to take the points from the champions on a day when Mourinho was forced to speak out about speculation surrounding his future.
The Blues, who had William Gallas sent off in the last minute, had a goal disallowed when Didier Drogba handled the ball in an attempt to claim an equaliser.
Drogba celebrated the goal as if nothing had happened but an eagle-eyed linesman spotted his offence and referee Mike Dean wiped out the goal.
