Denmark confirms first case of H5N1 bird flu
16/03/2006 - 13:30:39Danish authorities in Copenhagen today said they had confirmed the country’s first case of deadly H5N1 bird flu.
The Ministry for Consumer and Family Affairs said a buzzard had tested positive for the disease.
A sample had been sent to the EU reference laboratory in the UK for final verification.
