Greens to invest €1bn in education if elected to Govt
16/03/2006 - 12:51:46The Green Party has vowed to invest an extra one billion euros in education without raising taxes if it is part of the next government.
The promise is contained in the party's election manifesto on education, which was launched this morning.
The Greens have drawn up 50 steps they say can solve all the problems in the Irish education system and are planning to unveil one every week over the coming 14 months.
