Kanye leaps to big screen
16/03/2006 - 15:09:40Hip-hop star Kanye West is set to launch his acting career in a movie inspired by his own hit tunes.
The confident Gold Digger hitmaker will star in the untitled film, which will feature a series of short stories from 10 to 12 directors, linked by a central narrative.
While Lackawanna Blues director George C Wolfe will executive produce, Richard Brown and Steve Golin will be among the producers.
Brown enthuses: "This project will synthesise Kanye's vision with a fantastic group of film-makers and create what will be a one-of-a-kind film experience."
