Dominican President to begin European tour

Dominican President Leonel Fernandez will visit England, France and Spain this week to promote investment, his foreign minister said.

Fernandez was to meet with Tony Blair on March 20, and on March 24 he will meet with Queen Elizabeth II, said Dominican Foreign Minister Carlos Morales Troncoso.

Fernandez and tourism representatives will leave on Thursday for their nine-day trip.
