Thomond to be redeveloped as 26,000-capacity stadium
14/03/2006 - 12:03:44Thomond Park has been nominated as the best venue for the provision of a 26,000-capacity rugby stadium, the Munster Branch of the IRFU Development Committee said today.
A number of potential sites had been considered in the Limerick area.
Full details of the new project will be announced at a when outline drawings of the new stadium are available.
