Munster Branch confirms Thomond redevelopment
14/03/2006 - 15:29:13The Munster Branch of the IRFU has today confirmed that Thomond Park has been selected as the venue for a 26,000 seater stadium.
There were a number of options for the Branch to consider. Unsurprisingly, Thomond Park was always the choice of every Munster supporter and it would have defied logic to develop anywhere else.
The details of the project, including outline drawings of the stadium, will be revealed to the media in the near future.
