Desperate Housewives star ‘engaged’ to crooner Bolton
Desperate Housewives star Nicollette Sheridan and singer Michael Bolton are engaged, it was reported tonight.
People magazine said that a spokeswoman for the actress had confirmed the news.
The couple rekindled their romance last year after dating in the early 90s.
Sheridan, (aged 42) reportedly wore a huge rock on her left hand at a post-Oscar party earlier this month, but when asked if she had an announcement to make only answered coyly: “No. Do you?”
Asked about engagement rumours in January, Bolton told the New York Daily News: “Nicollette and I are very serious about each other ... I am very committed.
“It is a very special time in my life. I have a good feeling about the future.”
Sheridan, who was born in Worthing, Sussex, plays sexually-domineering Edie Britt in the hit TV series.
She was married to LA Law actor Harry Hamlin in 1991 and separated from him the following year.
Bolton (aged 52) was married to Maureen McGuire, the mother of his three children, between 1975 and 1990.
