Fulham announce 'managerial restructure' plans
A question-mark hangs over the future of Fulham’s management team after the club released a statement revealing redundancies are in the pipeline.
However, confusion reigns over who is in the firing line with Chris Coleman and his assistant Steve Kean heading a backroom staff which includes Dave Beasant, Billy McKinlay, Ray Lewington and Craig Brown.
It is not thought Coleman is under threat.
There is also the possibility the plans could affect off-the-field staff.
The statement read: “In line with the board of directors’ vision for the future success of the club, Fulham is currently under going a managerial restructure.
“Part of this process may include redundancies which in any organisation is of course is regrettable.
“However, its purpose is to ensure that the business moves forward successfully both on and off the field and that its long term commercial viability is secured.”
