Kelly ends Round Towers stint
10/03/2006 - 18:02:19Laois' 2003 All-Star defender Tom Kelly has ended his stint with Dublin club Rounder Towers, Clondalkin, and is returning to his native county to re-join St. Joseph's.
Kelly, whose brothers Stephen and Colm plays for St. Joseph's, joined Round Towers at the end of 2004 while living in Rathfarnham, and helped the club gain promotion to the capital's senior league.
Round Towers, who will be managed by former Dublin players Paul Curran and Darren Homan in the new season, have moved quickly to plug the gap left by Kelly.
Killian Burns, who won an All-Ireland with Kerry in 1997, has agreed to join the Clondalkin outfit. The 30-year-old can operate at corner back or centre back.
