Towcester racing survives inspection

Clerk of the course Robert Bellamy was able to deliver the good news despite yesterday’s wet conditions putting the seven-race card in jeopardy because of waterlogging.
“It is heavy ground but we are racing,” confirmed Bellamy.
“The forecast is for a dry morning with rain to come this afternoon.”
