U2 postpone Asia-Pacific leg of Vertigo tour
09/03/2006 - 07:59:31U2 have postponed the Asia-Pacific leg of their Vertigo world tour due to the illness of a relative of one of the band members.
The band was due to play 10 gigs in New Zealand, Australia, Japan and Hawaii between March 17 and April 8.
In a statement issued this morning, the tour promoter said the cancellations were unavoidable due to the illness of an immediate family member of one of the band members, who has not been named.
