Meath Council hosts showcase to attract new jobs
08/03/2006 - 14:37:06Meath County Council is hosting a showcase event in Dublin today in an effort to attract jobs to the county.
The event, which is designed to highlight the county's potential to would-be investors, is taking place at the International Financial Services Centre.
Council chairman Brian Fitzgerald has said investors should be particularly attracted by the huge numbers of commuters who are currently forced to travel into Dublin to go to work every day.
