FÁS and ESRI report rise in companies with job vacancies
08/03/2006 - 11:01:19The number of companies reporting job vacancies increased last month, according to figures published today by FÁS and the ESRI.
The two bodies said 17% of firms had reported vacancies in February, compared to 14% in January.
The largest increase was in the retail and industrial sectors.
In construction, meanwhile, 9% of companies said they had vacancies last month, down from 15% in January.
