Hamas PM-designate 'not immune from targeted killing'

Israeli Defence Minister Shaul Mofaz today said that the Islamic militant Hamas group’s prime minister-designate, Ismail Haniyeh, was not immune from an Israeli targeted killing.

Mofaz made the comments on Israel’s Army Radio.

He said Israel’s policy of pin-pointed killings had proved to be effective, and would continue.
