Man killed in collision on Dublin-to-Belfast road

A man in his 60s has died in a car crash on the Dublin-to-Belfast road in Co Louth this morning.

The man was driving a car that collided with a lorry on the N1 at Thistle Cross, north of Dundalk, shortly before 4am.

Gardaí are withholding his name until all next of kin are informed.
