Michael D confirms he will run for Dáil again
06/03/2006 - 16:19:00Michael D Higgins has confirmed he will be standing in the next General Election.
The Labour Party president informed his constituency colleagues at an AGM last Friday night that he would seek the nomination.
The convention in Galway West is expected to take place within weeks.
