Bradley to debut for Wexford
Former Good Counsel College star Eric Bradley will make his debut for the Wexford senior footballers in Sunday's NFL Division 1B tussle with Down (Newcastle, throw-in 3.00pm).
Down currently top the table, while Sunday's visitors Wexford are bottom and pointless so Paul Bealin's Model men will have to pull something out of the bag at St. Patrick's Park.
Wexford will boast a new-look midfield partnership for the trip north. Adamstown clubman Bradley, who has played with New York in the Connacht championship and eircom League soccer with Waterford United, will be partnered by Rory Stafford, who came off the bench in the defeats to Laois and Derry, in centre-field.
Overall, there are four changes in personnel to the Wexford side that lost 1-05 to 0-13 against Derry last time out.
Manager Bealin is without the injured quartet of Redmond Barry (back), Nicky Lambert (hamstring), David Fogarty (abroad) and John Hudson ('flu). They have been replaced by Niall Murphy, Páraic Curtis, Bradley and Stafford.
Meanwhile, Kieran Kennedy and Leigh O'Brien, who operated in defence against Derry, have been shunted up to new positions at left half-forward and centre forward respectively. Horeswood clubman O'Brien captains the team.
