Hundreds without electricity after blackout in Wexford
01/03/2006 - 07:37:24Hundreds of homes in Wexford are without electricity this morning following a power failure in the county.
The blackout has been affecting parts of Wexford town and some outlying districts since yesterday afternoon.
The ESB says its crews are working flat out to rectify the problem and electricity supplies should be restored to all affected households by lunchtime.
The cause of the blackout is not known at this stage.
