Gunmen kill 47 factory workers north of Baghdad
23/02/2006 - 11:23:41Gunmen pulled factory workers off buses north-east of Baghdad and killed 47 of them, a provincial council member said.
The victims, who worked for a brick factory, were travelling in three buses.
They were stopped at a checkpoint in the Nahrawan area, about 12 miles south of Baqouba, and killed, said Dhari Thuban, a member of the Diyala Provincial Council.
