Bomb kills eight Iraqi soldiers in Baqouba
23/02/2006 - 09:49:42A bomb exploded today in the Iraqi city of Baqouba, killing eight Iraqi soldiers, the Iraqi military said.
The dead included a major and seven enlisted men, the statement said. At least 10 people including soldiers and civilians were injured.
The attack occurred against a foot patrol in the city 35 miles north-east of Baghdad.
