O’Sullivan to name starting 15 for Wales clash today

22/02/2006 - 09:04:17
Ireland coach Eddie O'Sullivan is expected to name his starting 15 for the Six Nations clash with Wales later today.

Munster lock Paul O'Connell was ruled out of the side yesterday after failing to recover from a shoulder injury.

Elsewhere, Saracens hooker Shane Byrne has also been drafted into the squad as precautionary cover for Ulster's Jerry Flannery, who has an ankle strain.

Meanwhile, Wales will be without captain Gareth Thomas for Sunday's clash and the rest of the Six Nations as the full back has damaged an artery in his neck.
