O'Shea on comeback trail

22/02/2006 - 11:40:04
John O’Shea’s comeback from injury saw him play 63 minutes of Manchester United reserves’ 4-1 defeat of Everton last night.

The defender played his first competitive match since breaking two ribs against Liverpool a month ago.

He was replaced just after the hour by Chris Fagan, who went on to score United’s fourth goal after two from Giuseppe Rossi and another from Mark Howard had put the visitors 3-0 up before Paul Hopkins pulled one back from the Toffees.
