Ill Allardyce misses Bolton flight
22/02/2006 - 09:55:45Bolton manager Sam Allardyce was absent as the squad left Manchester airport this morning ahead of the UEFA Cup clash against Marseille tomorrow.
Allardyce, who is suffering from a chest infection, was also forced to skip the pre-match news briefing.
He is expected to arrive in France tomorrow with assistant manager Sammy Lee in charge in the meantime.
