Iraqi minister escapes injury in bomb attack
21/02/2006 - 07:49:00An Iraqi Cabinet minister escaped injury today when a bomb exploded near her convoy in eastern Baghdad. Three security guards were wounded.
The attack against Suhaila Abed Jaafar, minister of migration, occurred as she was travelling along the Mohammed al-Qassim highway, said police Lt. Mohammed Khayoon.
She is a Shiite Kurd member of the outgoing Cabinet.
