Danish PM defends handling of cartoon crisis
21/02/2006 - 10:57:58Danish prime minister Anders Fogh Rasmussen today defended the government’s handling of the prophet cartoon crisis.
He reiterated the government could not be held responsible for the publication of the drawings.
Fogh Rasmussen also defended his decision not to meet with ambassadors from 11 Muslim countries who requested to see the prime minister after the drawings were published in a Danish newspaper in September.
