Accident causes major delays on N7 in Co Kildare
21/02/2006 - 13:09:58Motorists in Co Kildare are being diverted away from the N7 today following an accident at the Maudlins Interchange by the Naas flyover.
The southbound lanes of the dual carriageway have been blocked by a jack-knifed truck since earlier this morning, causing major delays.
At one stage, traffic was backed up past Baldonnel and all back roads around Johnstown were said to be heavily congested.
However, AA Roadwatch said the gridlock was beginning to ease as motorists chose to avoid the area.
