British govt issues deadline for Assembly

The British government has given the political parties until March 8 to agree any changes to the workings of the Assembly.

Speaking at Stormont, Northern Secretary Peter Hain said he was anxious to push for progress this spring.

Peter Hain and Dermot Ahern are meeting all the main parties at Stormont today.
