More Irish rejecting money advice from financial institutions

A new report by Standard Life has shown that we are turning away from financial institutions when it comes to seeking advice on money matters.

The study revealed that 60% of Irish people would prefer to get advice from an independent broker than deal with a financial institution.

The results are being welcomed by the Irish Brokers' Association who said that these brokers can give independent advice to people before they commit to long-term investment with one financial company.
