Nine additions to Ireland squad
19/02/2006 - 18:08:25Nine players have been added to the Ireland squad for training this week in the build up to the game against Wales on Sunday, February 26.
The additions to the squad will join up with the match 22 that played against France on Saturday, February 11.
Squad Additions:
Forwards: Marcus Horan, Mick O'Driscoll, Matt McCullough, Jamie Heaslip, Neil Best.
Backs: Denis Hickie, Girvan Dempsey, Robert Kearney, Barry Murphy.
Munster No.8 Anthony Foley was not considered as he picked up an ankle sprain at the weekend. His place is taken by Jamie Heaslip. John Kelly is also unavailable due to a groin strain with Robert Kearney coming into the backs.
