Three held after €3m cocaine seizure in Dublin
15/02/2006 - 07:22:55Gardaí in Dublin have arrested three men in their 30s following a major cocaine seizure on the city's northside last night.
The two Irishmen and a Nigerian were detained after 25 kilos of the drug were found during a search of a van in the North Strand area just after 7pm.
Gardaí say the drugs would have had a potential street value of around €2.5m to €3m.
The cocaine is believed to have been smuggled from Nigeria to Ireland via Dublin Airport in recent days.
