First test for new F1 team
14/02/2006 - 17:54:24Super Aguri have given their new car its first run ahead of the new Formula One season.
Japanese driver Takuma Sato, who is expected to be confirmed as one of the Honda-backed team’s drivers, drove the car at Kemble airfield, Gloucestershire.
Super Aguri now plan to move on to full testing at Barcelona next week before a further session at Silverstone.
The sport’s governing body, the FIA, confirmed Super Aguri’s entry last month but they still face a race against time to be ready for the start of the season on March 12.
