Belfast businessman rejects DUP claims about IRA links

09/02/2006 - 08:29:24
A Belfast businessman has rejected claims from DUP deputy leader Peter Robinson that he is linked to IRA "dirty money".

Mr Robinson used his parliamentary privilege to make the allegation against Peter Curtisan in the House of Commons yesterday.

Mr Curtisan has strongly rejected Mr Robinson's claims and has challenged the DUP man to repeat them outside the House of Commons.

He said yesterday that he had already taken legal action against a newspaper in connection with similar allegations.
