IFA pulls out of partnership talks
08/02/2006 - 16:30:48The Irish Farmers Association has pulled out of the national partnership talks.
A spokesperson said they were unhappy with the effect of the EU Nitrates Directive.
The Department of Agriculture has angered farmers by proceeding with implementation of the directive without trying to have the proposals watered down.
