Consumers body slams broadband after-sales services

The Consumers Association of Ireland has slammed the after-sales service offered by broadband providers in Ireland.

The association claimed today that callers to helplines set up by broadband companies are often being left on hold for more than 45 minutes.

The consumer body met the Communications Regulator last week to discuss the matter and to call for these companies to be pressured into offering a better service.
