Heskey admits charge

07/02/2006 - 09:56:55
Birmingham striker Emile Heskey has admitted a Football Association charge of improper conduct following his sending off against Arsenal on Saturday.

It is alleged Heskey failed to leave the field promptly after his dismissal for two bookable offences and approached the match officials in an aggressive manner using abusive language.

Heskey was charged after the FA received the report from referee Mike Riley. The case will be heard by a disciplinary commission on Friday.
