PSNI probes link between murder and arson attacks
07/02/2006 - 08:14:54The PSNI is investigating possible links between a murder in west Belfast last week and a spate of arson attacks in the same area over the past two days.
Three homes were set on fire in the Whitecliff Parade area last night, one of which had already been targeted earlier yesterday and on Sunday night.
Firefighters were also attacked with stones when they arrived at the scene.
The arson attacks are believed to be linked to the murder of father-of-six Gerard Devlin in Whitecliff Parade on Friday.
His killing is thought to be connected to a feud between two rival families in the area.
