Pharmacists seek controls on paracetamol availability
07/02/2006 - 13:50:48The Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland has called on the Government to introduce stricter controls on the availability of paracetamol and ibuprofen.
The two drugs are currently available over-the-counter in supermarkets and other retail outlets.
The PSI claims both have links to suicide and should only be dispensed on the advice of doctors of pharmacists.
