ISEQ finishes in the red
06/02/2006 - 18:39:47The ISEQ index of Irish shares finished the day in the red today, down 14.17 points to 7639.85.
Financial stocks were down across the board. Bank of Ireland fell 6c to €14.29, while AIB was down 2c to €18.53. Anglo Irish Bank was down 17c to €12.91. Irish Life and Permanent fell 6c to €17.59.
Rising passenger numbers boosted Ryanair profits to €37m for the third quarter, but the no-frills airline saw its share price fall 20c to €7.52 today.
Building materials group CRH had a positive day today, up 16c to €26.75. Builders Grafton also had a day in the black, up 4c to €9.69.
