Savage concern for Rovers
03/02/2006 - 10:45:29Blackburn midfielder Robbie Savage is a doubt for tomorrow’s Barclays Premiership clash with West Brom at The Hawthorns.
Savage sustained an ankle injury following a challenge from Rio Ferdinand in Wednesday’s win over Manchester United which led to the defender being dismissed for a second-bookable offence.
Florent Sinama Pongolle, signed on loan from Liverpool on deadline day, is also struggling with flu, while Craig Bellamy is close to a return after a three-week lay-off with a hamstring problem.
