03/02/2006 - 07:56:03This afternoon’s meeting at Fontwell goes ahead after a frost-free evening at the Sussex venue.
Clerk of the course Geoff Stickels decided not to hold a scheduled 8am precautionary inspection following favourable overnight temperatures ahead of the seven-race card.
“There was no frost and we race,” reported Stickels.
The going at Fontwell is currently good, good to firm in places.
