Family escape injury in blast bomb attack
03/02/2006 - 11:11:52A family escaped injury when a blast bomb exploded at their home in Derry early today.
The device was thrown at the house in Coshquin, Co Derry, police said.
A couple and a girl aged 10 were in the property on the Benview Estate when the explosion happened. None of them was hurt.
Detectives have yet to establish a motive for the attack at around 12.30am.
They have urged anyone with information, or witnesses, to contact police.
