O’Sullivan to name team for Six Nations opener today
31/01/2006 - 08:57:46Ireland coach Eddie O'Sullivan is due to name his team today for Saturday's Six Nations opener against Italy at Lansdowne Road.
Shane Byrne and Guy Easterby have both been left out of the squad for the game, which will mark Brian O'Driscoll's return to international action following his recent shoulder injury.
Elsewhere, Wasps scrum-half Eoin Reddan has received his first international call-up after being named in the 22-man squad for the tie, but he is expected to lose out to Peter Stringer in the starting 15.
