Keeper Copeland to make league debut

31/01/2006 - 12:16:46
Paul Copeland is set to make his senior league debut for Dublin in Sunday's Allianz NFL Division 1A clash with All-Ireland champions Tyrone in Omagh.

The St Jude's clubman will fill the number 1 jersey with regular stopper Stephen Cluxton currently away. Copeland started all three of the Dubs' recent O'Byrne Cup games.

Dublin manager Paul Caffrey names his team for the trip to Healy Park after training tonight. Injured corner back Greg Lewis (ankle) and wing forward Dabhach Dineen (hand) have both been ruled out of contention.

Meanwhile, Dublin's first home league game against Monaghan will be an all-ticket affair and played on Sunday, February 12, instead of the previous night.

The Farney county decided against agreeing to a Saturday night game under the Parnell Park floodlights.
