Barry set for Villa recall
31/01/2006 - 13:39:55Utility player Gareth Barry is poised to return to the Villa starting line-up against Jose Mourinho’s Chelsea side.
Barry, who can play in defence or midfield, was suspended for Saturday’s FA Cup win over Port Vale after his sending-off at Tottenham the previous weekend.
Striker Kevin Phillips is pushing hard for a return to the starting line-up in place of the ineffective Juan Pablo Angel.
Phillips, out for two months with an ankle problem, impressed as a substitute in the cup tie and set up the opening goal with his first touch for Milan Baros.
