Teenager quizzed over murder bid
30/01/2006 - 21:28:17A teenager was tonight being questioned about the suspected attempted murder of a man stabbed in the chest in East Belfast.
The 19-year-old was arrested by police investigating an attack in the Mount area of the city.
The 42-year-old victim was taken to hospital with wounds and was said to be in a serious but stable condition.
Police said the stabbing was reported to them at around 8.20am today.
A spokesman added: “A motive for the attack is still being investigate and the scene has been closed.”
